Clematis on the Web uses Adobe Cold Fusion to deliver the contents of our database. Four cookies are set: CFCLIENT_CLEMATISDB, CFGLOBALS, CFID and CFTOKEN. These cookies help to uniquely identify a client device (browser) to enable the site to maintain user session variables. How those are used are specific to the site.

CFCLIENT is a marker tag that holds no data, CFGLOBALS keeps global data about the client, such as HitCount, TimeCreated, and LastVisit, CFCFID contains a sequential number to identify the client. CFTOKEN contains a random number to identify the client.
